I’m based in Europe and have been prescribed cannabis for a chronic pain condition. I’m a long time recreational user and was naturally excited about the opportunity to source it legally.
The doctor told me he’s going to start me on a weaker strain and, if I found I needed something stronger, he could prescribe something else next time.
My prescription just came through and it wasn’t what I expected. First off, it’s a lot more than I was looking to pay – ~£600 for 25ml of oil CBD 100% / THC 1mg% & 30g of flower. Secondly, the flower is listed as THC 4mg% / CBD 8mg%. The strain is simply listed as NOIDECS flower.
I was expecting it to be mild, but 4mg% sounds seriously weak to me. I am genuinely looking to use it to deal with chronic pain, but that’s a lot of money and I’m worried that I’ll regret it.
Does anyone have experience with that kind of strength? What could I expect? Am I going to get any kind of psychoactive effect from it? I’m not looking for skunk that totally smashes me at this point in my life, but I REALLY don’t want to end up with 30g worth of weed that does practically nothing either. I definitely want something that I can get properly stoned on.
Any advice would be appreciated.
